shh!

A couple of days ago, the Star-Bulletin ran a letter to the editor in which one Honolulu resident described his displeasure at being woken up at 5 a.m., year after year, on marathon morning.

I'm not a fan of the use of gunpowder at 5 a.m. either, and if given the choice I'd put the kibosh on the boom boom, but it must be a spectacular rush for those at the start line about to undertake this amazing feat.

We forgot to buy S some earplugs so he's currently trying to fashion some out of my makeup wedges. :\
