So, I think I have finally, FINALLY hitched a ride on the Harry Potter bandwagon. I've been trying for years to fit in at Hogwarts and it just never happened. I got so bored by the time JK Rowling was done introducing the Dursleys that I never made it to the second chapter of any of the books. But I've made it to the last 20 pages of The Sorcerer's Stone, which rocks except that I already know Quirrell's a baddie and all ... Shmaybe I'll use part of what I was budgeting for Chicago on a nice HP box set. Or maybe I should just wait till the whole series is done.

I heard Hollywood completely mangled Eragon, but the kids still want to see it. Of course.
