i do believe in spooks!*
So that's what Halloween in Waikiki is all about. Current events, road rage and half-naked crazies. We ate at Cheesecake Factory - chicken madeira, the server's recommendation, and shrimp/chicken gumbo. No room for actual cheesecake. Took a lot of pics of the kids during the day, so my cam battery died when the best costumes were coming out at night.
Beyond a Halloween t-shirt I scored for $5 in the kids section at Old Navy, I didn't dress up this year (for work or to go out) - had been planning all along to break out my Chooka wellies, but in the end it was too much for normal, too little for a costume. I settled for a heavy application of Laura Mercier gold creme eyeshadow, which was fun in itself.
Home by 11, when the real ghoulies were just starting to come out for the night. Yawn. Nite ...
*Two cookies if you know whose line it is anyway!
