10.17.07 - A year and three months ago, while shopping for art with which to adorn my new and very bare walls, I met a guy with no pretense about him, no mystery, and no links to my past. ... Four days ago he asked me if I'd spend the rest of my life with him. Like a kid who's been offered candy, some toys and a new dog, all at the same time and to keep forever, I asked, "Are you serious?"
