I had a long overdue catch-up dinner with a friend that I used to eat and bitch with all the time. I miss him. This was my life when we first met. We've both come such a long way.

there might well have been many more vodkas in both our futures had he and i not finally employed common sense and broken up.
no more pain to numb = drinking no vodka but way too much soda.
