some examples of my ignorance

Um, if one of my kids had pulled this out of his jacket pocket, I probably would not have the slightest clue as to what the contents were.

By the way, I thought noodling was something like, I dunno, spooning.

... and an example of other people's ignorance.

um, well, that's a good thing (sorta). don't they make teachers go through a drug identification course? so they know what pot smells like, the signs of drug abuse, and drug id? hmm.

noodling = spooning? like that's the asian term for spooning? you little spoon or big spoon? (don't answer that)

Maybe high school teachers. But the only reason I know what pot smells like is because one of my neighbors had cancer. I grew up in the 80s ... I imagine that all drugs look like little piles of white powder.

I could do a whole blog on spooning. In fact, I so want to right now. Except that it seems wrong, on a national day of mourning. OK, maybe Monday.

Hey I think that kid got that stuff from his priest. I know they hand them out like hot cakes every Sunday at Catholic mass.
