Huh. I think the issue (click on "There's a spy in your car") is not reliability or even usefulness ... it's holy crap, how do you know if there's one in your vehicle?? Read up on legislation ... And I thought all I had to worry about was my brother sending a tape to that short-lived MTV show where these poor oblivious victims with no musical inclination whatsoever would be singing their hearts out to a mini-cam stuffed in the upholstery.
"If your car is a 2004 or newer, EDR is supposed to be listed in your owner's manual. When was the last time you read one of those?" ... I can't even figure out how to turn off my "CHG OIL" light. When was the last time indeed.

you're such a girl. here's how you turn off your "chg oil" light. change the oil and oil filter. *gasp* every 3-5 thousand miles, depending on what type of oil used. drive to jiffy lube, answer questions, give guy money, wait, and poof.
