Mrrpphhh. Slept till 11 a.m. because of one indulgence after another - many pieces of mochi and packets of explosives at the ancestral shindig, then leftover vegetable soup and The Elegance of the Hedgehog till 5 a.m. because I had the apartment to myself and the dog was still completely knocked out.
Judging by the silence of the horn, we're all too wiped to reopen for Day After Leftover Lunch (usually everyone goes back to Mom and Dad's to clean up the leftovers and watch the Rose Bowl and/or the Monk Marathon) - which is just as well, because Scott was saying something about getting out his Nittany Lions t-shirt, which would not do in a USC household - so I'm going back to bed outside to get some Day 1 cardio.

sounds like you had fun. surprised you can hear anything with all those explosives.
I on the other hand spent my NYE at a WOW party then went to bed at 2:30am. Woke up at 4. No, that's PM.
