eep - edit
Here I am - laced up, hydrated and ready to play - and I just had a totally terrifying thought: What if today isn't actually the first day of break? I mean, I don't remember actually checking the calendar myself, breaks are one of those things you just know from the start of the school year. What if in all my eagerness to re-feng-shui the living room and get back up the mountain, I overlooked something? Such as, oh, a week?
Anyway, I apparently have my head on straight (though I did have to consult the calendar to make sure sure) and I'll be out the door as soon as I hit 'publish post.' TA!

Since I had to throw the dog in the tub for a good scrubdown, I decided I might as well give the tub itself a good scrubbing, too. Secret #12: I moved in over two years ago and have never thoroughly scrubbed the bathtub. I've done the whole Scrubbing Bubbles spray, and usually when we have guests (seldom) I get rid of the more obvious spots of mildew and whatnot, but since I was a kid, scrubbing the tub has been my absolute least favorite chore, and moving out meant, among other things, that I could do it only when I wanted to - which, till today, turned out to be never.
So, the tub got its bath, and I even replaced the shower curtain liner and the ribbons I use in lieu of plastic rings. It looks like summer (or Cinco de Mayo) and not autumn, as perhaps it should, but I really hate fall-themed colors and decor. Brown and orange are not great colors for a bathroom. Can't yet post a finished pic because while just about everything has been scrubbed, disinfected, vacuumed, Swiffered, and polished, my makeup counter is still a hideous, embarrassing mess. But now I'm tired of the bathroom (and can't go in it anyway, because of the plethora of chemicals I just used to make it sparkle) so, next project please!
Still on the FI TDL: go shopping (I'm serious; I have a very detailed list of things I need, and I'm not making that need part up); print, embellish, and address invites; finish Season Two of "Brothers and Sisters"; call the florist; call the dress place to schedule first fitting (speaking of EEP.) Okay, that's enough.
... and I just discovered the pause button. Whew!
HAHAHAHAHA.
