people, "dove" is an americanism

Waited "standby" to see the good doc this morning for some advice on pre-wralkathon training. He said I have stress blisters (despite a conspicuous lack of that familiar stressed-out feeling) because I dived with such zeal into regular physical activity after such a very long time of physical inactivity. Body stress, not mind stress - for once! How interesting. He also said I should eat twice as much as currently do before and after each hike (and swim, when the muscles are healed and I am permitted back in the water about a week from now), and drink twice as much water.

Today's TDL: Project #1 (Workspace); put in some time at the family biz; bank or BUST; a big fat nap.

Also, I found Na'au. It was right where it was supposed to be - sometimes you just have to get your ass out of the car.

well, just before and after exercising. as in, if i currently eat one luna bar before my hike, i should be eating two.

i actually don't like luna bars so this is not good news.
