food, folks and fun
Requisite two days of toes-in-the-water pre-work are done; we now have approximately a week and a half to go as positively crazy as possible before we really jump back in.
T'day's Swimmage Report: Skipped 400 meters and went straight to 500. It's not the comfortable 500 I'm aiming for, but it was not altogether tortuous. It might have been a little breezier if I hadn't been weighed down by my lunch: the entire contents of a 2-item plate from Panda's (black pepper and kung pao chickens with chow fun). Today I learned (from Tami) that Panda's serves up Kid's Meals (1 item + 1 side) in cute little boxes, and that PE doesn't care if you are/have a kid or not. Also today, I learned (from myself) that I have finally outgrown Kid's Meals. How inconvenient.
I don't know if it's the fact that I'm exercising regularly, but I'm finding that I have this astonishing new ability to put food away. Like never before. Consequently, although I am hiking or swimming (or now running) every day, I am not getting skinnier. The sweetie has made some approving remarks on the changing shape of me, however. Which suits me just fine.
We are off to Mac 24/7 for dinner. More eating! Yay.

hmm. outgrown kid's meals like doesn't feed you enough or outgrown like you don't play with legos anymore?
plus, i'm not surprised. usually regular activity will increase the metabolism. downside, if you become less active but continue consumptation = not so good. you won't gain too much weight from your workouts. although your legs will get buff-er. more surface area to shave, get more razors.
oh, no. just foodwise. i still love the toys.
i'm getting married, i stopped shaving the day he popped the question. JUST KIDDING.
me too. about the kid's meals.
chewbacca.
