can't sleep
Looking for some late-night information and inspiration ... read Beat By 2 Preggies and a Broken Arm for some laughs and the most awesome of bottom lines: At least I showed up. I read this blurb and was instantly grateful that I don't have to fly to this beautiful destination to go on this behemoth of a wralk - it's my home. Read this post to meet someone who started at 28 weeks and made me realize that THERE IS A HELL OF A LOT LESS TIME TO GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD THAN I THOUGHT. (My calendar(s) and I aren't necessarily joined at the hip. Ah me.) Check out Sarah's blog for excitement similar to mine about being able to run nonstop for 9 MINUTES - although for me it was 7 and change. Read Frayed Laces for free t-shirt follies (and another reminder that I missed early bird registration). Read Emily's post on Japanese tourists who sign up for the marathon as part of a vacation package. And check out Colleeninhawaii's Flickr for images of those gitdanged fireworks that startle us out of our sleep at 5 a.m. on marathon morning each year. I'm sure I'll enjoy them a lot more when I'm out and about with the rest of the crazies.
