arriba!

Mom, Dad and Mart joined us for Taco Night at Ten-Eleven. Spicy chicken and low-salt beef tacos w/an enchilada "appetizer." Mom brought some tae gu we got from the Korean Bazaar after church this morning, and Dad started putting it on his tacos in lieu of salsa. The finished chicken:

Reviews were decent. I thought the beef tasted like yesterday's garbage, but the fam was more enthusiastic about it than they were about the chicken. Hrm.

Went to the Moanalua Bark Park yesterday, after dentist-y fun, purchase orders (Education Works got reorganized. Boo to not knowing where everything is!), and swimming. Kona the Jug and his new twin-friend, Buster the Chug:

Very excited about my final three days. I have them all planned out, and none of my plans includes going in to my classroom(!). Tomorrow we're hiking, reading, having lunch, and swimming. There might be a small shopping excursion as well.

By the way, I got a Twitter. For those days where all I have to report is how many meters I swam or how much I hate McDonald's. Y'know.

P.S. A weird e-mail blurb from my brother a few minutes ago made me laugh SO HARD. The funniest thing is that it's true - Glenn Medeiros teaches U.S. History at my alma mater.

Two things:
1) What's a chug? Chihuahua/pug?
2) Why is it you're following B and not me?

Gomen, I was following the people that Twitter extracted from my gmail. I didn't even know you had a twitter! Yeah, a chug is a chi/pug. They looked like twins except for the chug's slightly smaller head (and of course markings).

Wait a minute- I thought school started in August! Oooh enjoy your last few days of summer break then!!! And hey, I thought Glenn Medeiros was teaching at Island Pacific Academy in Kapolei... guess he's on to bigger and better things now, huh?

And now his song is stuck in my head. Both songs- it's like a crazy duet

Nothings gonna change my love for you, she ain't worth it, girl ain't worth it...

Hehe, have fun hiking, girl!

I wish with all my being that school started in August. Or September, even. Like the good old days!

I had no idea Glenn Medeiros was a teacher at all. The idea struck me as hilarious (because I immediately youtubed his video as I googled the teaching thing, so there was a soundtrack.)

"you oughtta know by now how much I love you (ess history)."
