Hosting (belated) Father's Day dinner at Casa Damned_Cat tonight. El menu: corn salad, greens, Mom's mushroom soup pork chops. As always, the hardest part of having everyone over is Cleanup (as in, quick - stuff as much of the dirty laundry pile into the closet as you can, arrange leftover odds and ends artfully on the bookshelves, turn down the lights, hope everyone is distracted by the yummies.)
Success or failure, I'll be back with a pictorial report. (Not of the apartment, but of the food.)
In the meantime, this is too, too funny.

the onion. i just got the movie. pretty good. it's a zucker production, along the lines of kentucky fried movie.
i highly recommend it if you're looking for a non-serious evening and mild racism.
