how chinese? this chinese

Saturday's errand: finally purchasing the Speech Festival T-shirts. A coworker is going to embroider them with the school logo and custom SF'08 design for the kids - it'll be the first year we'll have uniforms! I thought Foot Locker or its Kahala Mall counterpart, Foot Action, would hold the best deals for a mini-bulk purchase of plain white cotton shirts, but S said Ross (dress for less and all that) might be a better bet, and sure enough, we walked out with seven 3-packs of Calvin Klein undershirts at roughly $3.75 apiece.

We had a nice lunch at Bale (he ate Bale, I brought in a McDonald's bag. Shame shame, know my name.) As we observed parents and their kids having lunch, milling about the counter, and running around outside, I concluded that it's not kids I don't like (which should have been obvious after 10 years of working with them) - it's their retarded parents. I am going to write a book entitled How To Say 'No' To Your Child and Why You Won't Regret It.

Anyway, it's The Week Of - after today, it's HSA all the way, so I'll probably resurface next week. Wish us luck, because honestly sometimes that's what it all comes down to.
