Friday: Swanky senior living 10-year anniversary dinner soiree: Hawaiian, French, Italian and "San Francisco Seafood" stations. Highlights: lomi salmon in fish-shaped flaky pastry; duck l'orange (S), spicy white asparagus; crab cakes.
Saturday: Brunch by the good people at Zippy's: French toast sandwich (scrambled, corned beef hash) for me; primeburger for him. Peahen's-In-Town Dinner: pizza Finocchiona + Di Beppo 1893 salad = bliss.
Sunday: Everyone-under-the-sun's Birthday Brunch at the Pac Beach Hotel's Oceanarium. Highlights: mini char siu bao (really!); bell-olive omelette; haricots verts almondine; bread pudding. Yemmy.

i really did not expect to be attracted to that bag, but i am. ... the thought of ripping that beautiful skin off a snake, however, makes *me* want to hurl.
