Manana: "Dress Like Your Teacher Day." So that I wouldn't have 20 something kids (including 11 boys) trying to dress like, well, me - I told them all, girls included, to honor their PE teacher (who recently returned from heart surgery) and dress like him instead. On the reminder board I wrote "Wear a hat and tuck in your shirt." Shael wrote in his planner: "Wear a hat and tuck in your shrit." So I said, "What's going on with that 'r'?"

"Oh," he said. He erased the r and left.
