sunday d and i went to his friends' '80s party. whip it and all that. (devo was the '80s, right? pardon me, my musical experience last decade was limited to sesame street and some menudo.) i won a duran duran single, ha ha. ... dove shorts, cavaricci and other assorted fashion mistakes (but didn't jelly shoes make a 5-minute comeback a couple of years ago?) ... major '80s memories seem to be musical or at least related to the music. madonna hair. styx?!
