Jack Abramoff's finally off to jail. I can't begin to understand the ins and outs of how he got there but I am impressed with the title he's earned himself: THE FACE OF GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION. Awesome. Btw, what's the point of minimum-security prisons? You get an ugly outfit and a job peeling spuds for twelve cents an hour. The worst part might be having to share a dorm with five other men. Honestly, why don't you just make all the corrupt lobbyists and Martha Stewarts sit in a corner with a bowl of peas to shell? "You go think about what you've done." You're humiliated and hopefully done-for on Capitol Hill, but you asked for that, just like you asked for George Clooney to make fun of you at the Oscars. Make a REAL example out of idiots who can't stop abusing their positions - there are so many things you could make them do outside the cushy walls of minimum-security lockup that would matter more.

Btw, I still want to bitch about Abby Cornish! You know, if it was a publicity stunt to promote "Candy," she could have picked someone else's husband to mess around with. Try busting up Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams, maybe. Who is Ryan Philippe? Mr. Reese Witherspoon. At least Angelina Jolie picked someone with good movies and massive Hollywood mojo.
