I'm ahead of schedule! I woke up not tired! It looks like the vog is lifting! Of course, that could be just the window I'm sitting at but since there is so seldom any reason to make such liberal use of my ! key I see no reason to stop now! I'm getting to the Xerox machine first! My tea is just right! I sound a maniac! And I like it!

I did not buy a BenQ camera yesterday although it certainly has been month for impulse purchases. My best IP so far has been a discarded library book I bought off someone via Amazon - The Majesty of Grace, one of my childhood favorites. I adore the internet. Anyway, the other reason for not buying this odd little camera was that Vickie still has my brand-new Pentax ($40!!) on the side, and I haven't even met it yet.

I'd like to think that this non-exhausted feeling is a by-product of the increased exercise I've been getting as of late. I haven't exactly run a marathon but it's been awhile since I vegged in front of my DVD player with a bag of cookies. Scott and I went for a couple of good ("brisk") walks and I think there's a hike in my near future. Might even work up to a slow jog. Heavens to Betsy. Of course he did just loan me a TV ... but on the other hand, I'm out of cookies. So I think I'm safe.

I made it to my ceramics class last night (I feel like I should start !!ing again) ... After a two-week absence I debated going back at all, but my Chinese girl senses finally kicked in and I realized I'd already paid $200, worth way more than an early evening nap. So I went back. My Grecian vase turned into something I might use to float votive candles, but at least I got it more than three inches off the base. Cynthia did a glaze demo which leaves me wondering 1) Why is my attention span so lousy? and 2) Where can I get elbow-length latex gloves?

Called my parents in PHX this morning. The wedding is 5 p.m. their time, so they were just kicking it at the hotel. I remember when Bryan, the soon-to-be-married, found $10 at Waialae Drive-In and wouldn't share it with us girls for popcorn. SeaWorld, some ho'olaulea in Torrance, sneaking Hot Tamales after everyone else fell asleep, introducing me to the joy of untoasted Pop Tarts. He grew up to look like Keanu Reeves. Yay for Bryan.
