Lame website of the day alert.

Well, I didn't feel like getting any work done (not the choicest day to do this much goofing off, but what can you do?) so I tooled around on Google for awhile, typing in fun crap like "no," "however," and "marjoram vs. oregano." Thought about funny-sounding words to Google and Wiki (I know Wiki's not a verb yet, okay?) and came up with "herkie" (a cheerleading move) which made me think about my favorite sport of all time (not cheerleading, GYMNASTICS - the sport that gives cheerleading its athletic merit) and decided to Google Shannon Miller, whose most memorable performance to me (Atlanta be damned) was her floor at the 91 Worlds in Indiananapolis. She rocked a sax-y "When the Saints Go Marching In." She did not win floor - in fact she came in 4th behind Zmeskal and her 3 consecutive whipbacks in her middle tumbling pass - but it stood out because she was SO SHY and had no charisma to speak of but during that performance she busted out way out of her shell. Which was so cool.

I know she's retired but you'd think her official website would have something more to do with her gymnastics career than a little watermark proclaiming her "America's most decorated gymnast" near the bottom. I will check YouTube for a video of that 91 floor but I suspect it's only for the hardest of the die-hards.
