There's a frantic house-wide cleaning streak going on right now (I guess there's really nothing else to do until it's safe to go outside without life jackets). Found some irreplaceable documents I thought I had lost forever, and a shoe that I love. Unfortunately, I have yet to find its partner.

Went to a Borders reading of Behold the Many yesterday afternoon, by the most amazing L.A.Y. (it was worth braving the rain) ... 1) yes, I am calling Na'au today and 2) I'm never moving to Kalihi Valley.

Also on the to-call list: vision people (how come they don't mail a nifty card like HMSA and HDS?) and my eye doc. Maybe a swanky pair of glasses will help chase these blues away ...
