peace treaties

My students extended an "Olive Branch Petition" to me today, reading:

"We want to PREVENT WAR! ... we want a fair trail (sic)! ... No worktation without representation!"

Cute.

So I told them fine, they could have two days off. "Just be sure to come back on Monday."

Tee hee. Teachers think they're so funny.
