I'm excited to take my camera out this weekend. Driving DQ home from school today I had a perfect shot of gray-blue clouds, a curved row of houses, and road. Composition, if I can't yet call it a strength, is the element I'm most interested in. Unfortunately today 1) I didn't have my cam and 2) I would have had to get out of the car and stand in the middle of 5 p.m. traffic to get the shot. Guess that'd be a nay.

Extended Spirit Week :: FINALE

Dress up your teacher in recycled materials. No theme, no example, no other guidelines - except the one given by me: the more of my dignity you preserve, the less weekend homework I will give you.

They dressed me in two garbage bags, a Christmas bow, two tissue boxes for shoes, a newspaper samurai hat, and a lovely sign that said "Don't hate" on my back. Although the kids clapped me into second place, Dave doesn't even think I even rated third. Looking at the other outfits, I'd have to agree - except that the best costumes were obviously not kid-made, whereas mine was. Hee hee. A recyclable time was had by all.

Joyeux Vendredi.
